Treasure Seeking

While out running errands earlier this week, I had a snippet of time to do some treasure seeking in my local GW. Knowing that I only had minutes before the kids would be calling me to find out when I'd be home, I went directly to the dish section and to the vases/candlesticks. Lo and behold, I found these beauties.
This nine inch Pottery Barn Mercury Pillar Holder was shining like a beacon.  It still had the original price tag on it...$29.00.  I snatched it up for a meager $4.50. The cute footed dishes were $1.50 for the pair.
So, this morning after my son's baseball practice, I stopped by a garage sale in my neighborhood. As I walked up the driveway, these sweet Justin boots were calling my name.  Okay, maybe not my name, but they were calling my daughter's name. (The boots are more her size, not mine.) They are in great condition and were definitely a bargain at 2 bucks.  I also picked up an acrylic clipboard that we're already starting to "pretty up".  I'll share more about that in another post.
Wishing you a weekend filled with all kinds of treasures!

I'm linking up with some of these great parties!

  2. Nici, what great finds! I have a pair of bright red Ariat cowboy boots that I absolutely LOVE and have nearly worn out... they are so comfortable, and the bright red color is a real stand-out. Hope your daughter loved her new boots!
