Food for the Soul ~ I Thess. 5:16-18

Have you ever wondered what God's will for your life is? I know I have.  While reading my Bible recently I came across some notes I had made on the pages. There, in bold letters next to this verse, was written "God's Will". It is three parts... Be joyful always...Pray continually...Give thanks in all circumstances.   While these actions may not always be easy to do, we can rest assured that we are in His will when we practice them.

I want to thank you for your continued support and kindness as I navigate this new-to-me world of blogging. I have been so blessed by the new friendships I've made and by the stretching of the creative side of my brain that had been a bit dormant.

I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving as you recollect the goodness of our Heavenly Father and enjoy treasured time with family and friends.

  1. I think too that you get a gut instinct on what you should or should not be doing in life, even if you want to ignore it (which is especially easy to do if what you're doing is something you enjoy or is not 'wrong' in any way).

  2. I love the barn photo, and I love that verse. All three parts of that are related to submitting to the authority of Christ, and that's the key to peace.
