The Big Game with Target and Rubbermaid

Well, the Big Game is approaching. This weekend the teams that will be playing in the Super Bowl were determined. While our favorite team didn't make it to the end, we will still be snacking our way through the Super Bowl. And Rubbermaid is teaming up with Target offering exclusive discounts to make sure you are well prepared to party too!
Ever since I melted my old Rubbermaid lid on my cooktop, I've been needing to replace some of my mismatched food storage containers.  I was so excited this week to print off my Target coupons from  http://coupons.target.com/rubbermaid-coupons to use for discounts on Rubbermaid products.
Target has a great selection of Rubbermaid containers. I have always appreciated Rubbermaid's leak-proof seals which prevent spills, and their range of sizes. They have containers that go from 1/2 cup through at least a gallon size.
On my shopping trip, I saw that Rubbermaid now has glass containers too. I love that! We frequently have leftover soups and sauces and I am trying to get better about not microwaving in plastic. These are definitely on my "must have" list.
I picked up the Premier 14-piece set with 2- 0.5 cups, 1- 1.25 cup, 2- 2 cups, 1-3 cup, and 1-5 cup containers. I know this set will come in handy with everything from leftovers to storing small servings of homemade salad dressings. Some 1 gallon sized containers for transporting large batches of these yummy Chocolate Football Cut Out Cookies even made it home with me. I'll be sharing the recipe for these real soon!
Whether you are hosting a football watching party at home or going to a friend's house, Rubbermaid storage containers are incredibly durable and affordable. The TakeAlong line is perfect for transporting items to parties and/or giving them away packed with yummy food gifts. With these coupons you get at Target.com, you are sure to save even more on Rubbermaid products.
Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid containers snap to the bottom of the container, so no more losing lids at parties or in the recesses of your cabinets.
And when you are storing them, the lids stack together too. Because cabinet space is limited in my kitchen, I am always on the lookout for smart storage solutions. This is, perhaps, my favorite feature of these Rubbermaid containers.
With the Easy Find lids, cleaning up is a breeze. No more searching high and low for the right lid. Just unsnap it from the bottom of the container and pop it on the top. Your containers are ready for the refrigerator.

  1. Hi Nici, it's been a while since I bought any containers. I had no idea they had come such a long way! How nice that the lids snap to the bottoms and that they all stack together. I'll take a closer look next time I'm at the store. And did you bake those cookies? I'm so impressed! Everything looks so fun. What time should I come over? ;) Have a great week!

  2. I love love love my rubbermaid containers. We got rid of all of our containers when I re-did the kitchen 6 years ago and got a few big boxes of the premier Rubbermaid with the hard plastic and the snap on lids. I have them in a drawer with four piles based on the size and two piles of lids. I love them and I would do it all over again. I would super love some of those glass ones but I need to clean out my cupboards and make some room first :)
