Secret Ingredient Smoothie
Cottage Cheese Pancakes earlier in the week.
What I noticed was that this smoothie stuck with me a lot longer than when I just use yogurt. After doing a little research, I found that cottage cheese has almost twice as much protein as yogurt and half as many carbohydrates. I put some oatmeal in it for a little more bulk and fiber. So, instead of adding expensive protein powders or yogurt to your next smoothie, consider adding in some cottage cheese. Your taste buds and waistline just might thank you ;-)
