Easter Tablescape

Hi Friends! Have you had a good week so far? We're getting so close to Easter I can smell the ham cooking! In order to get ready for the big meal, I pulled together some springy items to get the table all set up with an Easter Tablescape. I wanted to know before the big day what the table would look like...kind of like playing dress up.
Now, you may be thinking it looks a little like my Springtime Coffee with Friends, and you'd be right. I kept the same centerpiece and added some items around it.
The place settings are my Staccato china. I put the cute little birdie napkins in the teacups for a little color at each place. The napkins were made from an adorable set of fat quarters.
Around the centerpiece, I added the swag with green berries. A decorative bird at each end and the Touch of Gold Easter Eggs finish off the center of the table. Oh, there's a cute celery green creamer just waiting to be filled too.
So, by now, the place settings and glasses have all been put away. I've left up the white runner with all the spring goodies on it. It certainly makes the breakfast area cheery as we wait until Easter. I'll be pulling out the china again soon to fill up the plates with all kinds of yummy Easter fare. Now...I should probably start planning out what we'll be serving ;-) How are your Easter plans coming along?

  14. What a great idea to use fat quarters for napkins. I am not a quilter, but I see these beautifully coordinated packs of quarters at the fabric stores, and wish I had a use for them. Love the idea!
