2-3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, filleted
1/2 cup favorite barbecue sauce
1/4 cup apricot preserves
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1 tsp. onion soup mix
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken pieces into glass pan or stoneware. Combine the barbecue sauce, preserves, thyme and onion soup mix. Spoon over the chicken. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink.
This chicken was so flavorful and juicy. It was delicious paired with a yummy salad and some cheesy noodles. When you find yourself wanting the taste of barbecue, but not necessarily ready to pull out the grill, I hope you'll try this recipe. It's a keeper!
