First, I joined up with some amazing ladies to start the All Things Thursday Blog Hop. It opens every Wednesday night at 8pm Central. I hope you'll make plans to join us each week. I am always amazed at the creativity out there.Juggling Act Mama involving a roundup of some of my favorite cookies from Posed Perfection.
Then, I celebrated Posed Perfection's 1st Birthday with a giveaway for a gorgeous Porcelain Enamel House Number from the world famous Ramsign. In between and around these special events, I managed to squeeze in some posts. Here were some of the highlights:
I showed you how to make a DIY Leather Cleaner and Conditioner that will bring some new life to your tired leather sofas.Blueberry Oatmeal Coffee Cake, of course!
Road Map Wrapped Jars were created using the pages of an old road atlas that was a bit tattered and worn. What a great centerpiece or accent for graduation, going away or just casual get togethers!
Mud Pie Mocha Brownies were born when I had some store brand chocolate sandwich cookies that weren't getting eaten because they didn't taste quite like Oreos. Their flavor simply added another layer of yumminess to these box-mix brownies...add to that a mocha frosting...they were dangerous...in a good way.
Microwave Alfredo Popcorn quickly became the chosen "movie" snack for some members of our household.
On a personal note, we finished up baseball finally. Now the team is going through some changes, so we are looking into other options for the fall. Ch...Ch...Changes... keeps going through my head. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that we sold our beloved travel trailer that we have had for 9 years. That baby has seen some miles and we have lots of fun memories of the trips we've taken. Well, that just about wraps things up for July.
I'm really looking forward to August's back-to-school buzz ( I love a fresh start to the school year!) and the splendor of fall decorations. I better start "gettin' my craft on" so I'll have something to share for the August roundup! I hope you have had a wonderful summer so far. Enjoy these last couple of weeks before we all get into the swing of fall sports, school and preparations for the holiday season. It will be here in the blink of an eye! What's your favorite thing about August? For me...it's school supply shopping. I can't resist the new boxes of crayons and the adorable notebooks.
