Food for the Soul ~ I Corinthians 15:58

Too often in the frays of raising our children and/or homeschooling them, it is so easy to throw in the proverbial towel and just give up. Give up going against the grain, give up the training in righteousness because it is just too hard. Let the words of God, spoken through the Apostle Paul, encourage your heart and help you to remain steadfast in your love and devotion to the things (and people) that matter most to Him. Your labor of love is not in vain.

Truly, this verse could speak about any number of situations in our lives, whether it's raising our children, nurturing our marriages, or being salt and light in our workplaces. For me, I believe this will be the verse that carries us through this school year as we will all have bigger workloads and more will be required of us.  Have a wonderful Labor Day! I hope you get to spend it with those you love most!
