Fall Rosette Wreath

Ever have one of those years where you just can't seem to get your wreath the way you like it? That has been my experience this fall. I tried re-working last year's wreath a few times, but was never really satisfied. I have finally settled on this Fall Rosette Wreath and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

So, I started looking through my stash of materials and found these burlap rosettes that I had made several weeks ago for another project, which I never finished. I made up a few more rosettes from the drop cloth I purchased to do the Stenciled Pillows a while back. Then, I just started hot glueing them to the grapevine wreath...largest rosettes first, filling in with the rest.
Finally, I added my turquoise/teal blue "H" by fastening it to the wreath with jute. It was even embellished with a couple of orange burlap rosettes. This seems to be my color scheme this year, as I've used it in my Orange & Turquoise Fall Mantel and some other fall vignettes around the house.
This wreath is a bit of a departure from my fall wreaths of the past, but I do like it. Best of all, I love that I could shop my stash and didn't have to spend a dime on it. How do you go about doing your wreaths? Do you try to re-work your old ones, or do you start from scratch every year?
