October 2013 Rewind

Well, I finally got through the weekend of parties, celebrations and sports tournaments! Phew! I don't know about you, but I certainly needed the extra hour of sleep when we turned the clocks back. Since I was partying too much (son's birthday and co-hosting fun link parties), I haven't had a chance to do my monthly recap. So, today, I bring you the October 2013 Rewind (just in case you missed any of the 5 most popular posts).

I'll start with the Rustic Toolbox Centerpiece. This was such an easy and fun centerpiece to put together from things I had in my stash of fall decorations.
Next up, are the Frosted Candy Corn Cookie Bars. Using all store-bought, prepared ingredients, I was able to make up a fun & festive dessert to take to parties.

The most viewed post was my Anatomy of an Up-cycled Sweater where I showed you exactly how I was able to get 8 different projects from the same Orange Sweater.

Dinner in a Pumpkin is one of those recipes that you only pull out once a year, but you are so glad you did. The rich, warm goodness of the rice and beef cooked inside a pumpkin is a feast for the tastebuds and a fun tradition to start with the kiddos.

Finally, the CH.O.P. Cookies were a big hit with the addition of creamy pumpkin to the already-delicious oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies. Thanks for stopping by today! I always enjoy your visits!
