Pumpkin Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls
On my quest to use up my latest jar of Pumpkin Butter from Trader Joe's, I came up with this super easy breakfast recipe...Pumpkin Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls. What I love about this recipe is that it only has four ingredients, five if you count the extra powdered sugar. It's a great little treat for afternoon coffee with friends or a nice pastry for your Thanksgiving breakfast table.

Here's what you need: 1 tube crescent rolls, softened cream cheese, pumpkin butter, pecans and powdered sugar (not shown)

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

1 tube crescent rolls
3 Tbsp. cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. pumpkin butter
2 Tbsp. chopped pecans
powdered sugar

Mix the softened cream cheese, pumpkin butter and pecans together until combined (taste to adjust sweetness if needed); set aside. Separate crescent rolls into triangles and place 1 Tbsp. dollop of the filling on the wide end of the crescent.  Roll up and place, seam side down, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 11-13 minutes or according to package, remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Allow to cool a bit, as filling will be hot.

I adore simple recipes that taste like you spent a long time in the kitchen, especially around the holidays when time is at a premium. Speaking of holidays, are you getting your menu together for Thanksgiving yet? What dish do you absolutely have to have on your table for it to be Thanksgiving for you?

  2. Those look delicious! For Thanksgiving, I have to have some sort of sweet potato casserole with marshmallows, brown sugar and a crust of pecans on top. I could eat a whole pan of it myself!
