While much of the country is experiencing record-breaking winter weather, I thought I'd share this incredibly easy tropical dessert to take the edge off the bitter cold.
Here's what you need: Angel Food Cake mix, can of crushed pineapple, and whipped topping, if desired.
In large bowl, combine cake mix and crushed pineapple.
Stir until combined.
Pour into lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 container frozen whipped topping, if desired
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with cooking oil. In large bowl, combine cake mix and crushed pineapple with juice. Stir until well blended. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and set. Let cool completely. Serve with whipped topping, if desired.
