January 2014 Rewind

January has come and gone. Really?!?! Where did it go? How are your New Year's resolutions coming? Remember, I didn't do resolutions, rather I set "Thrive" as my word for the year. I saw some success in a few areas and definitely fell short in others. Isn't that the way it goes? Well, in case you missed any of the top-viewed posts here at Posed Perfection last month, I give you the January 2014 Rewind.

Love was in the air this month, even though Valentine's Day is still a couple weeks away. I had a lot of fun with heart-shaped crafts and comfort foods.
First up, the Nutter Butter Love Bugs seemed to be a hit. When all the cute designs for fall and Christmas treats passed me by, I needed a way to use my Nutter Butters.

For the chocolate lovers in your life, you can't go wrong with this Snow on the Mountain Chocolate Bundt Cake. Why not make one for the sweeties in your life for Valentine's Day?
January was National Soup Month, and I made plenty of it. One of my childhood favorites was transformed and made even better. This Bean & Bacon Soup was so easy to make and certainly warmed the belly.

One of my favorite projects of the month was making these Drop Cloth Heart Pillows. Drop cloth has got to be the most versatile fabric ever!

Finally, the post that got the most views was the Valentine Paper Strip Heart Garland that I made from scraps of paper and some baker's twine. Oh, how I love a FREE craft!

So, that about wraps up the month. I'm eager to get moving into February, working more toward the goals I've set for myself. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by here for a visit. It means so much to me.

I'm linking up at some of these great parties and
