February 2014 Rewind

Oh, my word! Can you believe it is March 1st already? My mom was just asking me what I had planned for my birthday and it really hadn't occurred to me that it is just a couple of days away. Well, before we go plunging into spring decor and Easter treats, let's take a look back at the last month in the February 2014 Rewind.
I always like doing these posts after a month is past so that I can see that I was, indeed, somewhat productive. This may only be the top five viewed posts, but I like seeing the fruits of some of my labor. And, I like to give you a chance to catch up on the top posts in case you missed them the first time around.
Let's start with the Copy Cat Lemon Chicken Greek Salad. This was a recipe that I had been wanting to duplicate for years and finally got around to doing it. I'll be making this salad lots more in the future!
Next up, I tackled the "dirty" marks in my How to Clean Silverware Marks from Corelle Dishes. My vintage Corelle dishes look like new thanks to an old cleaning agent. Why did I put this little chore off for so long?
Trying to lighten things up a bit around the "Chocolate" holiday, I made these 2 Ingredient Pineapple Angel Food Cake Bars. Such a yummy low-fat treat!

Following the tips of one of my favorite bloggers, I created this Green & White Kitchen Table Vignette. I didn't have to buy a thing for this...just shopped the house and freshened up some Valentine's Day and birthday flowers.

Throwing my daughter a music-themed birthday party at the beginning of the month gave me the opportunity to make this fun Kit Kat Piano Cake. It was a big hit. She even sat down and "played" a tune on the "piano keys".
This last one is a kind of bonus. I didn't put it in the collage of the top viewed posts, because earlier in the day, it hadn't been viewed very much. By the time I was putting the finishing touches on this post, I noticed that it had surpassed some of the others in views. Apparently, my Clevercat Litter Box Knock-Off struck a nerve with my sweet, pet-loving readers. It may not be pretty, but it makes up for it in practicality.

Well, I'm off to a soccer game on this beautiful Saturday morning. Do you have big plans this weekend?
I'm linking up at some of these great parties and
