Orange and Turquoise Mantel Redeux

Okay, it's October. That means it's time to bust out the orange! I absolutely adore orange and turquoise together...so much so that I did my fall mantel decor in those colors last year. As I started pulling out the fall decor items this year, I couldn't seem to get away from putting these two colors together again. So, I bring you the Orange and Turquoise Mantel Redeux.

Let's go layer by layer to see how I put this together. By the way, I didn't go shopping for any of this mantel decor this year. It's all stuff you've seen before...just reworked.

Starting with the large round copper platter I scored at Goodwill a couple of years, I placed the FALL letter blocks in front. Moving outward, you'll see a couple of black candlestick holders with tan candles, some faux fall leaves, an old insulator, large blue vase and a ceramic pumpkin nestled in some moss on a pedestal.

I picked up this sweet little squirrel at Hobby Lobby last year. He seems pretty comfortable on the mantel too.

So, there you have it. My favorite color combination is at work again on the mantel. How are your fall decorations coming along? Are there any color combos you're crushing on right now?
