Food for the Soul ~ Psalm 103:2-4

Hi Friends! Hope this Sunday finds you doing well. I am so thankful for the goodness of the LORD today. If you follow my Instagram feed, you may have seen that my dad had knee replacement surgery this week. He and my mom live about 300 miles away, but he had to have his surgery done here in the DFW area. Although I'm sure it's not how they would have planned the logistics of surgery and rehab, the LORD graciously made it so that he would have to have the surgery here and have to stay at our house for a couple of weeks afterward. It's a win-win situation. We're able to be there for them for support and we get to enjoy the blessing of their company for a couple of weeks. It's been so sweet to see the kids ready and willing to help out and keep their Papa company while he heals and does his physical therapy.

I'm thankful that all went well with the surgery and that healing is taking place. I am also thankful for the opportunity to love on and serve my sweet parents who have given so much of themselves over the years. I know the frailty of human relationships, and I am beyond blessed to have the family that I have.

God is so good! Besides the loving relationships He has given us, Psalm 103:2-4 is another example of the benefits we receive from Him. What a blessing to know that I am forgiven, He has redeemed my life, and I have been crowned with never-ending love and mercy! Want to know something awesome? Those are your blessings too!

Wishing you a wonderful week, my Friends! Thank you so much for spending part of it with me! It truly makes my heart smile!
