Hello friends. I hope you've had a wonderful weekend celebrating with friends and family. We had a nice Christmas at home and then the kids and I got up early Saturday to drive to Lubbock to spend a few days with my parents. (Hubby had to stay behind to work.) As I type this, we are facing the Goliath Winter Storm. The wind is whipping and the sleet has been pelting the windows for about an hour. They are expecting several inches of snow to fall and blizzard-like conditions through Monday morning. We'll be hunkering down to wait out the storm, but at least we'll be together. What a blessing that is!
I have so many things to be grateful for today...family and friends, safe travels, warm homes, delicious food to eat... but most of all, I am thankful for the gift of Jesus.
